KKF at BOP Bristol, 17 – 18 October 2026
We are delighted to be joining BOP (Books on Photography), Bristols’s annual photobook festival organised by the Martin Parr Foundation.
The festival brings together a wide-ranging group of photobook publishers, artist talks, exhibitions, book signings, events, street food, coffee and beer.
Martin Parr Foundation produces BOP each year and the festival takes place across the Paintworks site in Bristol. The talks will be held in the MPF gallery with a total of 8 talks across the weekend. The book fair will be held in the Paintworks Event Space. Further elements of the programme and more details coming soon.
KKF will be exhibiting an interactive display showcasing the books longlisted for the 2026 Photography and Moving Image Book Awards. Alongside, we will be displaying a selection of books by previous longlistees (many of which are out of print and tricky to find), and vintage publications by Focal Press (the publishing imprint run by KKF founder, Andor Kraszna-Krausz).
We are also delighted to be supporting the BOP Talks programme. Further info about the line up can be found here.
This year the judges in the photography category were Jermaine Francis, Fiona Rogers and Diane Smyth, and their selection presents an overview of current trends and leading voices in contemporary photographic publishing. The judges in the Moving Image category were Ellen E Jones, David Martin-Jones and Agata Lulkowska.
